This is the GigaPanBot Light using only one motor. On top of the motor I can mount any standard NPP adapter (3/8') or like in this case my own adapter.
The motor head
is mounted directly on top of a standard tripod 3/8" bolt. I found out this is still too time consuming, therfore I will mount a quick release adapter between motor and tripod.
This head is capable of rotating the camera in vertical position. check out the video below to see the head in action.
The NPP adapter is custom made. The axial arm has 6° click stops and is secured by one knob.
A quick release adapter is used to mount the camera on the axial arm.
As you can see the adapter is adjustable to fit the camera/lens NP point.
GigaPanBot Light on the table
This is the table version based on a Velbon Mini Maxi tripod.
The controller sits below the tripod.
A wireless release is used to trigger the camera (same as in the second video)
The same little gearmotor is able to tilt the camera in horizontal position. See video below.
